    • This mug really shows off the transformation that happens to the Green to Black glaze when hit by the soda, changing from a satin black to a liquid green. The clay is a version of my 10% mix with a flashing slip applied at leather hard.

    • This mug was in the throat zone of the kiln, so caught a bit of fly ash, leaving a lovely green highlight near the rim. The 1:1:1 flashing slip helps produce the rich, toasty colour and has some of our Rahu clay in it.

    • Another of my glazes that is altered by where it's placed in the kiln - which dictates the amount of soda, fly ash and heat that it gets. The Barium Blue/Green looses some of the copper under these intense conditions and that creates the changes of colour.
